ADA Soliciting Input on CDT Code

As announced in the ADA News, the American Dental Association has created a task force to enhance the CDT Code and is soliciting dental community input. The aim is to ensure that the ADA code set serves current and evolving needs for robust patient records and accurate claim submissions. Information about the need for and value of this project, along with specific questions concerning an enhanced CDT Code is located here.

The Enhanced CDT Taskforce is seeking community comment on the project in two ways:

  1. Oral testimony. Two virtual listening sessions will take place on Thursday, Jan. 27 and Tuesday, Feb. 22, from noon until 1:30 p.m. Central time. There will be an opportunity to provide oral testimony concerning this project. Each speaker will be provided a maximum of 3 minutes during the listening sessions. You can register for the listening sessions by emailing dentalcode@ada.org. The capacity for each session is limited to first 25 registrants.
  2. Submission of written comments. Use the link above to aid in documenting your comments. You can return your comments via email to dentalcode@ada.org by Jan. 14, 2022.
