The Health Professional Recovery Program is a confidential, non-disciplinary program designed to assist licensed or registered health professionals recover from substance abuse/chemical dependency problems or a mental health problem. Wellness Resources from the ADA
The Wellness section of the ADA Center for Professional Success contains a variety of useful wellness resources. Topics include work/life balance, ergonomic tips, stress, reducing hand or back pain, and recovery from addiction. Included is the Dentist Well-being Program Directory and Dental Well-being Handbook. Also available is the 2015 Dentist Well-Being Survey Report.
Toll-Free Dementia Help Lines Available
Help is available to individuals suffering from forms of dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, or Parkinson’s disease.
The Michigan Dementia Coalition has created three individual toll-free help lines for individuals suffering from these diseases and families and friends who may be caring for them. The numbers are:

- Huntington’s Disease: (800) 909-0073;
- Parkinson’s Disease: (800) 852-9781.
