How You Can Help Keep Fluoride in Your Community

Community water fluoridation has been a topic of debate since its debut in Grand Rapids, Mich. in 1945 and the MDA is working harder than ever to ensure communities continue to benefit from this public health initiative. New resources have been developed to educate patients, the general public and community leaders on the safety and effectiveness of fluoridation. The MDA is looking for dental professionals and other activists who are willing to take part in activities to support fluoride in their local communities — local support is the most impactful and as a dentist, you are a trusted local expert to your patients and community leaders.
