You work in healthcare to help others, and learning to help yourself first may not feel natural. However, if you want a long, fulfilling career in dentistry, learning how to care for your mind and body is essential. This course will help you learn basic concepts in self-care, body care, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. The top five dental burnout signs will also be discussed as well as how to combat burnout to extend your career for as long as you would like.

Learning objectives:

  • Learn how to prevent painful injuries that shorten your career.
  • Learn how to live mindfully each day to decrease anxiety, burn out and stress.
  • Find new ways to fill your cup with positive, energizing feelings.
