Could less mean more? What if you reduced your goal each month to 30 new patients? What if each of these 30 patients had an initial new patient value of $1,000? What if all 30 of these patients continued returning to your office over the next five years? Initial New Patient Value refers to the amount of dollars they spend in your office over the first four months as a patient in your dental practice. If it is too low, that may tell you that you have too many new patients; you are busy but not productive! Let’s explore this together!

Learning objectives:

  • Cost-effective ways to have more new patients call this month.
  • Get patients to pay when they schedule.
  • How to continue positive reinforcement with patients who say “YES!”

About the Speaker … Debbie Seidel-Bittke is founder and president of Dental Practice Solutions, is a former dental hygiene program director at USC in Los Angeles, and is a registered dental hygienist, consultant, dental educator, author, and speaker.

Oral disease relates to our total health, or lack of health. Plaque and inflammatory markers in our mouth are also found in the arteries of our body. These inflammatory markers are now showing up in patients with prostate cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, not only patients who have had a heart attack, stroke, or diabetes.

Learning objectives:

  • Better understand the link of oral infections to overall systemic health.
  • Learn how to inform patients about the association between oral infections and their total health.
  • Discover ways to engage the medical community in preventing disease.

About the Speaker … Debbie Seidel-Bittke is founder and president of Dental Practice Solutions, is a former dental hygiene program director at USC in Los Angeles, and is a registered dental hygienist, consultant, dental educator, author, and speaker.
