  • discover the “why” behind why you can’t seem to move forward in a particular area of your life and how to cre¬ate success strategies;
  • identify strategies to combat fear and negative thinking; and

This presentation will cover different treatment modalities, the needed armamentarium, and a step-by-step approach with both slides and video presentation.

Participants will learn:

  • safe and predictable case selection;
  • sterile technique and implants dentistry;
  • treatment planning for the mandibular overdenture;
  • the necessary pharmacology, and why;
  • incision, access and suturing;
  • your first single tooth implant;
  • screw vs cement-retained prosthesis; and
  • how to present the implant case.

 

About the speaker ...  Dr. Steven Rasner earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. Of the 4,500 CE hours Dr Rasner has achieved, close to 1,000 have been dedicated to oral surgical sciences.

What is the secret to happiness? In this powerful presentation, participants will find that the secret to finding happiness may be right in front of them, and it’s in their power to reach out, grab it, and never let it go.

In this interactive presentation, participants will learn:

  • how to read a food label;
  • How to improve pH and digestion;
  • what foods to buy organic;
  • how to add more superfoods to your plate;
  • how to upgrade your food pantry;
  • how to make healthier substitutions;
  • what are the best oils/fats to use in cooking; and
  • how to make healthy food taste delicious.

Additional lodging options not listed below are available. Demand for larger accommodations is high. Call early for best reservations.

Rates are for room only, per room, per day and are subject to a 6 percent state tax, 9 percent service fee and 2 percent local assessment. Special room rates are only applicable for those who register for the MDA Winter Scientific Session. A deposit equal to the first night’s lodging is required. Full refund will be granted if you cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival date. No refund will be given less than 14 days of canceling. Children 17 and under stay free when sharing the same accommodations as their parents.

Reservations must be made by Dec. 5, 2017, to receive the MDA rate. Attendees must stay Friday and Saturday nights.

Skiing

Crystal Mountain will provide all registered lodging guests affiliated with the MDA Winter Scientific Session complimentary skiing on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Granted upon written request, less $25 administration fee. A 72-hour notice of cancellation is required for all CE programs. An email is an acceptable notification.
