Speaker Bio

For more than 30 years, Greg Kelser has been sharing his messages of self-improvement and teamwork to audiences as the means to achieve championship results. Greg’s life experiences have been unique. He was raised by military parents. He captained the Michigan State University men’s basketball team, along with Earvin “Magic” Johnson, to the 1979 NCAA basketball championship, and he was the first in MSU’s basketball history to be named both First-Team All-American and First-Team Academic All-American. Greg graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in social science and also received an honorary doctorate of humanities. He was selected fourth overall in the 1979 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, and played six years in the NBA with the Pistons, SuperSonics, Clippers, and Pacers. He has served as a television broadcaster for the Pistons since 1988 and for the Big Ten Conference since 1987. His broadcast career affiliations include FOX Sports Detroit, Big Ten Network, ESPN, CBS Sports, BET Sports, and Raycom Sports.
