Sheree Duff, RDH, BSDH, MSA, is an adjunct clinical lecturer within the Division of Dental Hygiene at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, teaching didactically as well as on the clinic floor. A former full-time clinical dental hygienist in the periodontal practice setting, Duff served as administrator of the Mott Children’s Health Center Dental Department before transitioning into an academic career. She has held various roles including faculty member, program director, associate dean, and dean of dental programs in both the private and community college environments. She has taught extensively both in the classroom and clinical settings. She has served as the chair of the U-M School of Dentistry Board of Governors, president of the Michigan Dental Hygiene Educators’ Association, president of the local chapter of the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, and is a member of the ADHA and MDHA. Currently, Sheree holds two national appointments serving as a Consultant to the Joint Commission on Dental Accreditation, as well as a member of the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations, Test Construction Committee.
