Periodontist

Speaker Bio

Dr. William Mason is a periodontist practicing in Saginaw since 1984 limiting his practice to periodontics and dental implants. He began placing dental implants in 1991 and to date has placed more than 4,000. He is a member of the Dean’s Faculty in the Graduate Periodontics clinic at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry where he teaches the periodontal residents one day per month. He has published 11 articles in various journals, including eight in the MDA Journal. He regularly demonstrates surgery to the dental hygiene students at Delta College and has presented lectures to numerous dental societies in Michigan. He is also a member of the Pierre Fauchard Society and has developed and patented a dental instrument to help alleviate the pain of palatal injections.
